The horizontal helical ribbon agitator is constituted with transmission mechanism. mixing device and U form barrel. The transmission mechanism has two types, direct-coupled type and split type. The direct-coupled engine can be installed in multiple places, it can solve the space problem of installation. The split type can be divided into chain drive type and belt drive type. The mixing device is an uniaxial ribbon type mixer. The axle can be manufactured to single stage or multi-stage. The ribbon can be manufactured to double layers or broken ribbon type. With different angle and direction of ribbon winding, the material has different flow direction. Through the continuous convective circulation, shearing and mixing, the materials are mixed quickly. The U form barrel can be manufactured with a cleaning door and equipped with jacket for heating and cooling. The barrel cover can be manufactured to full open type or closed type with feeding hole. The barrel side seal is divided into packing seal, gas seal and mechanical seal. The discharge from the barrel bottom can be pneumatic, electric and manual. This machine can also be equipped with high speed fly cutter to make the materials broken and disintegrated during the mixing.
